Does my child need coding experience?

No — we start from zero on Day 1. No experience required.

What's the minimum age?

9 years old. Kids should also be comfortable typing on a keyboard.

Do you really use AI?

Yes. Kids use Google's Gemini to help build their sites, with coaches guiding them the whole way. It's a real, modern skill and a big confidence boost.

What device should we bring?

The only real requirement is a device the child can upload and download files on — that's how they publish their site. Great options:

• A Windows or Mac laptop — ideal.
• A personal Chromebook — works great. (School-issued Chromebooks usually block file uploads, so those won't work.)
• An iPad or iPhone with the free Koder app.
• An Android tablet or phone with the free QuickEdit app.

A phone works in a pinch, but the small screen is tough — a laptop or tablet is much easier. When in doubt, email us before camp.

What if we don't have a laptop or device?

No problem — we keep a few loaner devices on hand. They're limited and first-come, so choose "borrow one from Code Camp" on the registration form and we'll set one aside for your child.

Where is camp held?

In North Spokane, in the Pine River Park Neighborhood — a small, friendly setting. We send the exact street address when you register.

How do I pick a date?

See the upcoming class dates on the home page, then choose your date right on the registration form. Each date shows how many slots are left.

How much is camp, and how do we pay?

Camp is $100 per kid. Pay by Venmo or cash after you register — we hold your spot for 24 hours.

How big is the class?

Up to 10 kids with 2 coaches — lots of one-on-one help.
